BiteTalk Live (“BiteTalk,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a live, cook-together kitchen and website that shares recipes, cooking guides, and product recommendations. This Privacy Policy applies to our website located at BiteTalk Live (the “Site”) and any related pages, such as the recipes, blog, live schedule, and shop.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

We may collect information you choose to share with us, such as:

• Contact information (like your name and email address) when you join the email list, download PDFs, or contact us.

• Recipe prompts, saved recipes, dietary preferences, and kitchen inventory details you choose to enter as a member.

• Food-storage photos and shopping receipt images you choose to submit to My Kitchen for item recognition.
• Any other information you voluntarily provide when interacting with the Site.

Optional Google Analytics

When you choose to allow optional analytics on our public service pages, we use Google Analytics to understand traffic sources, page visits, call or text link clicks, and successful inquiry categories. A contact-link click is not treated as a confirmed booking. We do not send form text, names, email addresses, phone numbers, service addresses, dietary details or meal selections to this analytics property. Customer workspace, payment and private proposal pages are excluded.

The optional Google tag loads only after you allow analytics. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled for this setup. You can choose No thanks or reopen Analytics choices at the bottom of a public service page to change your choice. We also respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control preferences. 4. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services to help run the Site and measure performance. These third parties may collect or have access to information needed to perform their services. Analytics information is typically anonymized or aggregated; booking and payment providers receive the details needed to handle a visit or invoice.

Examples include:

• Analytics tools for traffic and usage statistics.
• Email providers for sending newsletters or updates.
• Square for meal-prep deposit invoices and payment status. We share the customer contact and approved service details needed to issue and track an invoice; card details are entered with Square.
• Google Calendar for Scott's meal-prep schedule. The Site checks events on the BiteTalk owner's calendar for conflicts and creates, updates, or removes BiteTalk booking events. A confirmed event can include the customer's name, service address, contact details, menu, and visit time. We do not request access to customers' Google calendars.
• Artificial-intelligence service providers that process the prompts, recipe context, food-storage photos, or shopping receipt images needed to provide member-requested recipe and My Kitchen features.
• Affiliate networks (such as Amazon Associates) for tracking clicks and purchases.

Google Calendar data is used only to schedule and manage BiteTalk visits, not for advertising or sale. Calendar authorization credentials are kept in protected server configuration. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

We do not sell your personal information. However, affiliate partners may track clicks and purchases through their own cookies and tracking technologies when you follow outbound links from this Site.

5. Affiliate Links & Advertising

Some of the links on this Site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you purchase through them. This does not change the price you pay and helps support the content we create. Our full Affiliate Disclosure provides more detail.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Email subscribers may unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email.

My Kitchen stores the inventory items and preferences you confirm so the feature can work across visits. It also stores cooking confirmations, inventory adjustments, and grocery reminders you choose to create so you can review or undo those updates. We do not save original food-storage photos or shopping receipt images to My Kitchen or our application storage after the recognition request is processed. We may retain sanitized extracted review data and limited scan metadata, such as status, item count, and technical usage information, for reliability, abuse prevention, and support. Receipt analysis is designed to exclude payment, card, and loyalty-account lines, and we do not intentionally retain those lines. You can remove individual kitchen items from within the feature.

7. Your Choices & Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have one or more of the following rights:

• To access the personal information we hold about you.
• To request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information.
• To request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal requirements.
• To object to certain types of processing or request restrictions.
